Tibere

The Tibere was a French experimental rocket for re-entry tests .

The three-stage Tibere was launched on February 23, 1971 and March 18, 1972 by Biscarrosse as part of the ELECTRE program. Here, altitudes of 159 kilometers were reached. The first stage of the Tibere had, similar to the first stage of the Berenice, 4 stabilization missiles. The Tibere had a takeoff thrust of 170 kN, a takeoff mass of 4,500 kg, a diameter of 0.56 m and a length of 14.50 m.
