Tiberius Claudius Iustinus

Tiberius Claudius Iustinus (full name form Tiberius Claudius Tiberi filius INGM Iustinus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription found at the Maglona fort and dated 188 shows that he was prefect of the Ala Augusta ob virtutem appellata , who was stationed in the province of Britannia .

  1. According to the RIB, INGM could either be the incorrect reproduction of a tribe or a second gentile name or a second cognomen . John EH Spaul assumes that INGM should represent the Tribus Tromentina .
