Tiberius Claudius Iustus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tiberius Claudius Iustus (full name form Tiberius Claudius Iusti filius Quirina Iustus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma dated December 31, 135, shows that Iustus 135 was in command of the Ala Gemelliana , which at that time was stationed in the province of Mauretania Tingitana . He was enrolled in the Quirina tribe and came from Rome. Possibly Iustus is identical with a knight who is documented as idiologus Aegypti in 147 .
