Marcus Aurelius Salvius was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .

Two inscriptions found at the Castra Exploratorum prove that Salvius 222 was a tribune of the Cohors I Aelia Hispanorum , who at that time was stationed in the province of Britannia .
