Marcus Claudius Menander was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .

An inscription found at Birdoswald Castle shows that Menander was a tribune of the Cohors I Aelia Dacorum in 219 , who was stationed in the province of Britannia at the time.
