Tiberius Claudius Saturninus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tiberius Claudius Saturninus was in the second century living Roman politicians.

Saturninus was governor of the province of Moesia inferior from 144 to 147 ; this is evidenced by military diplomas dated April 7, 145, among other things, and inscriptions dated 144 and 147.

The inscription of 147 shows that Saturninus gave the tribune Tiberius Claudius Ulpianus the order to catch wild animals for the emperor ( ob venationem Caesarianam iniunctam a Claudio Saturnino legato Augusti pro praetore ).
