The Tigar has a heavy, slightly curved, single-edged blade. The blade widens slightly from the handle to the location . The blade has neither a hollow grind nor a central ridge. The back of the blade is slightly convex . The cutting edge is S-shaped and bulbous in the local area. The place is pointy. The hilt has a guard that is forged from the blade. The round handle is made of wood or horn . It is notched and rounded on the pommel. The tigar is often made of pamor steel (similar to Damascus steel ). It is used by ethnic groups from Java.
