Tikkun is a bimonthly magazine published in the United States . It analyzes American and Israeli culture , politics, religion and history from a left progressive Jewish worldview and provides commentary on Israeli politics and Jewish life in North America. The magazine was founded in 1986 by Nan Fink and Rabbi Michael Lerner , who is editor-in-chief to this day .
