Tim Goss

Tim Goss (born February 28, 1963 in Great Britain ) is an engineer and racing car designer in Formula 1 .

Since completing his studies at the Imperial College in London Goss worked in motorsport . In 1986 he was hired by Cosworth , from where he finally moved to McLaren in 1990 .

After the 2012 season, McLaren announced that Paddy Lowe would be leaving the team. On February 25, 2013, McLaren announced that Tim Goss would take over Lowe's position as Technical Director. Lowe will take on other responsibilities until the end of the year.

According to consistent media reports from the end of April 2018, Goss has to give up his position as technical director at McLaren.
