Tim Thamerus (born February 5, 1966 ) is a former German soccer player in the storm . He played for BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

Thamerus played from 1984 to 1987 for the second team of the BFC Dynamo . In 1985/86 he won the relay with the BFC Dynamo II. However, since second teams were not eligible for promotion, the runner-up BSG Energie Cottbus rose to the GDR league. In 1987 Thamerus moved to SG Dynamo Fürstenwalde for a year . He had his first use on August 9, 1987, when he was substituted on the first match day of the 1987/88 season in the 4-1 defeat against BSG activist Brieske-Senftenberg in the 70th minute for Uwe Horn . From then on, Thamerus was regularly in the starting line-up. On February 20, 1988, he scored his first goal in the second leg against the BSG activist Brieske-Senftenberg. Fürstenwalde won 3-0. In total, Thamerus made 28 league appearances and two goals. In 1988 he was obliged by BSG Energie Cottbus, which had been promoted to the league. There he made his debut on August 19, 1988 when he was substituted on for Jörg Burow in the 3-0 defeat by Hansa Rostock in the 77th minute . Nevertheless, Thamerus could not prevail in 1988/89 and only came to 13 missions at the end of the season, including eight substitutions and four substitutions. That's why he went to the GDR league club BSG Motor Ludwigsfelde the next season , where he was part of the regular staff from the start and scored four goals in 28 games.
