Tiridates III.

Tiridates III. was a Parthian anti -king who ruled around 35 to 36 AD.

Tiridates was 10 BC. Chr. Given into Roman care by his grandfather Phraates IV . He also lived in Rome when oppositional forces in Persia around Abdagaeses and his son Sinnaces offered him the crown as anti -king to Artabanos II . Lucius Vitellius then escorted Tiridates to Parthia, where Artabanos first fled from him to Hyrcanian . However, when he returned with Scythian auxiliaries, Tiridates, in turn, had to retreat to Roman Syria .
