Tissa Balalle
Tissa Reginald Balalle (different spelling of the name: Balalla ; * July 15, 1937 ) is a Sri Lankan politician of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SFLP).
Life
Ballale was elected member of parliament in the 1970 election for the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SFLP) founded by SWRD Bandaranaike in 1951 and was a member of this until the 1977 election . On October 6, 2007 he replaced Dharmadasa Wanniarachchi as governor of the Northwest Province and held this office until January 23, 2015, after which Amara Piyaseeli Ratnayake was his successor.
