Titanic is an international progressive rock band from Norway .

history

The group Titanic was founded by Kenny Aas, Kjell Asperud, John Lorck, Janne Løseth and Roy Robinson (singer) in 1969. In 1979 the band broke up. A reunification took place at the end of the 1990s.

Her biggest international hit was the single Sultana in 1971 with number five in the British and number eleven in the Dutch charts . In Germany, the single Santa Fe reached number 36 in the same year.

The best-known pieces in German-speaking countries are Searchin from the album Titanic and One Night in Eagle Rock from the album Eagle Rock .

The last album so far is called Ashes and Diamonds and was released in February 2009.
