Titular diocese of Guzabeta
The diocese of Guzabeta ( Italian diocesi di Guzabeta , Latin Dioecesis Guzabetensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishopric that was in the Roman province of Numidia . The bishopric of Guzabeta is perhaps identifiable with the ruins near Henchir-Zerdan in present-day Algeria .
The only known bishop of historical Guzabeta is the Donatist Innocentius, who took part in the Council in Carthage in 411, at which the Catholic and Donatist bishops of Roman Africa met.
