Titular diocese Neocaesarea in Bithynia
Neocaesarea in Bithynia ( Italian : Neocesarea di Bitinia ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient city of the same name Neokaisareia , which was in the Roman province of Bithynia in the center of Asia Minor . The bishopric was assigned to the church province Nicomedia .
