Titus Lucretius Tricipitinus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Titus Lucretius Tricipitinus is a figure from the early Roman period. Twice, in 508 and 504 BC He is said to have been Roman consul both times at the side of Publius Valerius Poplicola . Despite his alleged successes, such as his victory over Porsenna during the first consulate and the victory including a triumph over the Sabines during his second consulate, tradition has always given his person a back seat to that of his counterpart.

The person of Titus Lucretius Tricipitinus and his deeds can be wholly, or at least in large part, attributed to the Roman myth.
