Tjitte Weistra

Tjitte Weistra (born December 2, 1975 ) is a Dutch badminton player .

Career

Tjitte Weistra won the 1995 Puerto Rico International and 1997 the Scottish Open. At the 1999 World Cup, however, it was only enough for 17th place. Further tournament wins followed at the Puerto Rico International, the Peru International, the Mexico International and the Carebaco Championship. He later moved to Peru as a playing coach and then to New Zealand in 2004. In 2011 he became the O35 world champion.
