from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tokuh , also Tokoo , was a goldweight in Guinea . The weight corresponded to a small berry. An Aki could have 8, but also 7 Tokuh. Each measure between 1 tokuh and 8 tokuh had a separate name; but is not passed down.

  • 1 tokuh = 0.1594 to 0.1621 grams
  • 8 Tokuh = 1 Aki / Ake = 1.275 grams
