Tomáš Hrubý (film producer)
Tomáš Hrubý (born April 16, 1986 in Prague ) is a Czech film producer .
Life
Tomáš Hrubý studied at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts . Together with Pavla Janoušková Kubečková , he founded the production company Nutprodukce in 2009 . After initially concentrating on documentaries and short films, the renowned Polish director Agnieszka Holland was won over for the historical miniseries Burning Bush - The Heroes of Prague . The production was both a hit with audiences and critics. In addition to several international awards, it was nominated for 14 Český lev in 2014 , of which 11 awards were won, including best film.
