Tomáš Juříček

Tomáš Juříček (* 1974 ), also Tomás Juricek , is a Czech cameraman .

Life

Juříček studied at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. He started working on film in the early 1990s as a camera assistant in various Czech feature film productions. In 2004 he was Alan Caso's camera assistant in the US miniseries "Frankenstein", which received an Outstanding Photographer nomination from the American Society of Cinematographers. From 2002 he worked mainly for Czech and Slovak feature and television film productions. In 2017 Robert Dornhelm engaged him as DOP for his four-part play Maria Theresia . In 2018 he was involved in several episodes of the series Murder in the Bohemian Forest . As part of the 2020 Romy Awards , he was awarded forMaria Theresia nominated in the category Best Image Creation for TV Fiction .

In Western European film productions or German dubbed versions he usually appears as Tomas or Tomás Juricek.
