Tomáš Klus
Tomáš Klus (born May 15, 1986 in Třinec ) is a Czech songwriter and actor.
biography
Sport played a very important role in Tomáš Klus' youth, he belonged to the swimming department of TjTž Třinec, he also played other sports and in 2002 he was a member of the Czech junior team, which won gold in modern pentathlon at the European Junior Championship .
In addition, at the age of nine he discovered his interest in music, he began to play guitar and when he moved to the capital Prague in the 2000s because of sports , he began performing there with the guitar and self-written songs. In 2007 he took part in the Czechtalent youth festival in Zlín and won. He got a record deal with Sony BMG and made his first recordings. With Do nebe he had his first hit in early 2008, with which he made it into the airplay charts. His debut album Cesta do záhu (d) by was received very cautiously.
In the same year he also contributed three songs to the film Anglické jahody (translated to English strawberries ) by director Vladimír Drha . Among them was Navěky , with whom the Czech casting star Aneta Langerová also sang. This gave Klus his breakthrough and a top 10 hit in the charts. In the vote Hit Roku 2008 to be the hit of the year on Radio 1, the song took second place. His second album Hlavní uzávěr splínu then went straight to second place in the Czech sales charts in autumn 2009.
In 2004 Tomáš Klus got a role in the TV series Hop nebo trop . He also pursued acting and took acting studies at the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU). In 2008 he had another appearance in the television comedy Šejdrem .
Klus released his third album in September 2011. With Racek he reached number 1 in the album charts. And finally he joined the Czech top musicians from autumn 2013 when he had the hit of the year together with the band Kryštof and the song Cesta , which was number one on the radio charts for 15 weeks , and then in spring 2014 with Proměnamě for reached number one on the album charts for the second time in a row.
