Tom Johnson (* 15. July 1964 in Evansville , USA ) is a retired American boxer in the featherweight . He was trained by both Robert Mitchell and Joey Fariello and Vonzell Johnson .

He won his first 20 fights, most of them by knockout. He fought against Manuel Medina on February 26, 1993 for the IBF world championship and beat him by a split judge's decision (113: 114, 115: 112, 115: 112). He defended this belt a total of 11 times and lost it in February 1997 in the title union against WBO world champion Naseem Hamed by technical knockout in the 8th round.
