Tom Zürcher

Tom Zürcher (* 1966 in Zurich ) is a Swiss writer and copywriter .

life and work

Tom Zürcher grew up in Zurich. After completing a commercial apprenticeship, Zürcher first worked in the banking industry. After various activities, he joined advertising, where he worked as a copywriter for large Swiss agencies for many years. He has been working as a freelance copywriter and writer since 2011.

He wrote Tschivers Cambel's first (unpublished) novel and The Search for Treasure at the age of ten. Of the six novels that Zürcher has written, four have so far been published. The first published book was the crime novel Högo Sopatis determined .

With the third novel Mobbing Dick , published in 2019 , he was the only Swiss author to be nominated for the German Book Prize 2019.

Tom Zürcher lives in Zurich.
