Tomasz Szadek ( Tomasz Sadek , * around 1550 in Szadek , † after 1610 in Kraków ) was a Polish singer and composer.

Szadek was ordained a chaplain and worked as a singer at Kraków Cathedral before becoming a member of the court orchestra in 1569. Here he worked until 1574, after which he was a member of the royal rorantist band until 1578 ("Thomas, clericus Sacrae Reginae Majestatis"). Most recently he worked as vicar and confessor at the Kraków Cathedral, where he was last mentioned around 1611.

Two masses by Szadek ( Officium Dies est laetitiae , 1578 and Officium in melodiam motetae Pisneme , 1580, after Thomas Crécquillons Puis ne me peult venir ) have survived . Other unfinished and undated works by him can be found in the archive of the Kraków Cathedral: the Introitus Vultum tuum , the Graduale Haec dies and the Communio Pascha nostrum (in the soprano and tenor parts).
