Tomasz Tomaszewski (musician)
Tomasz Tomaszewski (* in Czechowice , Poland ) is a Polish violinist.
Life
He studied at the Warsaw Academy of Music , then at the Leningrad Conservatory and later in Freiburg, and also attended master classes with Fyodor Druzhnin, Oleh Krysa, Pierre Fournier , Anatole Liebermann, Hiller and Szerny.
Tomaszewski has been the first concertmaster of the orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin since 1982 , has been teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts since 1983 and was appointed professor in 2001. He plays worldwide both as a soloist and as director of the chamber orchestra "Chamber Soloists of the Deutsche Oper Berlin", which he co-founded.
