Tonga Post has been the state-owned postal company in Tonga as a Limited since 2006 . The company is subordinate to the Ministry of Public Enterprises . Tonga Post is a member of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU).

In 2013, the state-owned printing company Tonga Print was taken over. It has been operating as Tonga Fast Print ever since . Tonga Post also operates the Tonga Philatelic Bureau , a philatelic office .

Tonga is one of only a few countries in the world to have integrated the what3words address reference system into the postal system.
