Toni Bartl (born January 11, 1971 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German producer , musician , composer, inventor and filmmaker.

Life

Toni Bartl grew up in Graseck (Partenkirchen) on a mountain farm with alpine farming. His father Anton Bartl (1935–2019) was a folk musician ("d'Hannesla", together with his brother Josef († 2009)) well-known far beyond the borders of Bavaria . By Toni Bartl sen. met Bartl jun. his first instrument, the Styrian harmonica (diatonic accordion).

From 2016 to 2017 Toni Bartl built the Kaiserschmarrn-Alm in Graseck in place of his parents' house , built according to historical models from old wood and rubble.

Act

As a ten-year-old Bartl made his first musical attempts on the diatonic accordion . However, he did not really deal with this instrument until he was 17, only to record his first record three years later. 1996 he became world champion on the diatonic harmonica.

In 1999 Bartl showed with a winning bet on the television show Wetten, dass ..? how to play a mini accordion with a 20 ton excavator.

At the same time he was working on his first stage program “Bavarian Bulky Garbage”, in which unique instrument creations made from everyday objects were used. Until 2006 he toured with this in a duo with Toni Grasegger († 2010) through the German-speaking countries.

In 2003 and 2004 the short programs "Auto di Takt" and "Alpen Bulky Garbage" were created, for which Bartl converted car parts and everyday items into unusual musical instruments. The demand for both programs continues to this day (Toni Bartl / Daniel Neuner, Andy Asang / Thomas Gugger).

Bartl's biggest productions so far are the award-winning shows “Yellow Hands” and “Recyklang” as well as “Alpin Drums - The drum sensation of the Alps”.

Toni Bartl has been on stage with Daniel Neuner and Juri Lex since 2014 with the program “Knedl & Kraut - Lachlederne Wirtshausmusi”, which he staged.

In 2017, Bartl directed a new Alpin Drums show entitled Der Berg groovt! (Hans Mühlegg / Bodo Matzkeit / Jörg Regenbogen / Raimund Bierling). In 2018, Andy Asang joined Knedl & Kraut and the Bavarian World Tour program was created . In 2019 the new program Luggi & Guggi - Durch Dick und Dünn with Daniel Neuner and Thomas Gugger, penned and directed by Toni Bartl, premiered.
