Tonsilla paraepiglottica

As Tonsilla paraepiglottica ( epiglottis almond ) refers to the accumulation of lymphoepithelialem tissue in the form of a tonsil in the mucosa close to the epiglottis ( epiglottis ), so at the entrance to the larynx . However, it only occurs in some mammals (e.g. sheep , pigs , goats , cats ) and belongs to the lymphatic throat ring in these . In humans and many other mammals (horse, cattle, dog) it is not trained.
