The Toplu Konut İdaresi Başkanlığı abbreviated TOKİ (German: TOKI - The State Housing Authority ) is the Turkish housing authority founded in 1984 . The aim is to provide sufficient living space for those parts of the population of Turkey who do not yet have their own apartment within the framework of social housing.

history

Today's TOKI is a public institution for building social housing for sections of the population with low and middle incomes. On February 12, 2012, 524,698 apartments were handed over in 2246 cities. The agency plans to complete around 1,000,000 homes in 81 provinces and 800 districts by the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey in 2023.
