Toto Coelo (lat. "As far as the sky can reach", in the United States Total Coelo ) was a British new wave music group that became famous in 1982 with the song I Eat Cannibals .

Career

The vocal group produced by Barry Blue consisted of Anita Mahadervan, Ros Holness, Lindsey Danvers, Lacey Bond and Sheen Doran. In the United States, the group known for their wild and colorful costumes called themselves Total Coelo to avoid confrontations with Toto . Their 1982 single I Eat Cannibals (Part 1) was in the UK at # 8 on the charts advance. Other singles like Dracula's Tango / Mucho Macho or Milk from the Coconut could no longer build on this success. A compilation of various singles and other material appeared in 1983 under the name Man o 'War and in the mid-90s with I Eat Cannibals and Other Delicious Hits (UK) and I Eat Cannibals & Other Tasty Trax (USA).
