Tougué (alternatively also Tougué-Center or Togue ) is a city in the Labé region in the West African state of Guinea and the capital of the Tougué prefecture . It has 3,745 inhabitants (as of 2008).

A bauxite deposit is being exploited in the vicinity of the settlement , but traditionally the main source of income is agriculture, in particular the cultivation of onions .

Since 1998, Tougué has been linked to the Conakry - Kankan railway line by a 140 km long side line , which meets the main line in Dabola . While the side line has a track width of 1435 mm, the main line only has a track width of 1000 mm. The iron ore from the vicinity of Tougué has to be poured into Dabola on the way to the port of Conakry . Just ten kilometers west of Tougué is a town called Tougue .
