Tour Perret (Grenoble)

The Tour Perret (also: Tour d'Orientation) is an observation tower in the French city of Grenoble . It was built in 1924 on the occasion of the Exposition internationale de la houille blanche , which took place the following year, according to plans by the architect Auguste Perret , and is the first reinforced concrete tower in Europe.

The tower stands on an octagonal floor plan and reaches a height of 95 meters. It has been classified as a monument historique since 1998 .
