Tour d'Arundel

The Tour d'Arundel is a lighthouse that emerged from a medieval fortification in the La Chaume district of the city of Les Sables-d'Olonne . The complex houses the Musée de la Mer, which can be visited from April to September. The former donjon used to be the only lighthouse of Sables-d'Olonne and was later supplemented by a more powerful lighthouse, the Phare de l'Armandèche .
