DFS Aviation Services

The DFS Aviation Services GmbH ( DFS AS ) is a certified according to European regulations ANSP . DFS-AS is a 100% participation of Deutsche Flugsicherung (DFS).

The company was founded at the end of 2005 as The Tower Company GmbH ( TTC ) and is based in Langen, Hesse, and is now active at nine locations. Since March 26, 2007, DFS-AS has been certified according to the European Single European Sky regulations.

It specializes in providing air traffic services and the related additional services at small and medium-sized airports.

The training and qualification of air traffic controllers at small and medium-sized airports is another business area of ​​DFS-AS.

DFS-AS is currently responsible for air traffic services at ten regional airports:

  • EDLW Airport Dortmund (since May 1, 2006)
  • EDLV Verkehrsflughafen Niederrhein-Weeze (since July 1, 2006)

  • EDPS Commercial Airport Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden (since June 22, 2007)
