The Toyo TT-10 is a trainer aircraft produced by the Japanese manufacturer Toyo Aircraft Manufacturing Co.

History and construction

After the aviation ban was lifted, Toyo Aircraft Manufacturing Co. began developing the TT-10 in 1952 . The aircraft is a two-seater low-wing aircraft with a fixed tail wheel landing gear. Teachers and students sit one behind the other in a closed cockpit. The fuselage of the TT-10 consists of a welded chrome-molybdenum steel frame and, like the wings, which consist of a wooden frame, is covered with fabric. The machine is powered by a Lycoming O-290 -D2 four-cylinder boxer engine with 100 kW. The first prototype flew for the first time on December 30, 1952, the production model on February 11, 1953. Presumably only these two machines were built.
