Association for accreditation
The German Association for Accreditation GmbH ( TGA ) is a former accreditation body and was merged into the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) on January 1, 2010 .
The TGA was founded in 1990 in Cologne as a carrier association for accreditation GmbH . In 2000 the TGA moved its headquarters to Frankfurt. Since 2005 the TGA has officially been called TGA - Carrier Association for Accreditation - German Association for Accreditation GmbH . The merger took place in the course of the EU directive, which stipulates exactly one top accreditation company for each EU member state.
The TGA accredited certification bodies in the legally unregulated area for quality management systems ( ISO 9001 ), QS 9000 , SCC , EN 46001/2 and ISO / IEC Guide 66 , environmental management systems according to ISO 14001 and personnel certification bodies for

- Motor vehicle experts
- Corrosion experts
- Property appraisers
- QM and UM personnel
The accreditation of the certification bodies was carried out on the basis of the series of standards DIN EN 45000 ff and DIN EN ISO / IEC 17000 ff. The TGA carried out the personnel certification in accordance with DIN EN 45013 and ISO 17024 .
