Association for accreditation

The German Association for Accreditation GmbH ( TGA ) is a former accreditation body and was merged into the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) on January 1, 2010 .

The TGA was founded in 1990 in Cologne as a carrier association for accreditation GmbH . In 2000 the TGA moved its headquarters to Frankfurt. Since 2005 the TGA has officially been called TGA - Carrier Association for Accreditation - German Association for Accreditation GmbH . The merger took place in the course of the EU directive, which stipulates exactly one top accreditation company for each EU member state.
