Central tegmental tract

The central tegmental tract is also known as the “central hood tract ”. It conducts efferent impulses of the extrapyramidal motor system . Fibers run in it, through which important motor centers such as the nucleus ruber , formatio reticularis , pallidum , nucleus dentatus and thalamus are connected to the olive .
