Traditionalist Youth Network

The Traditionalist Youth Network (TYN) is a right-wing extremist group of young adults. She represents the White Supremacy ideology and calls for racial segregation . She sees " Family and People " as the core of American society.

history

In 2011 Matthew Heimbach became active in the right-wing student group "Youth for Western Civilization". The group tried to reach out to Republicans and Conservatives. Heimbach got out and founded the "White Student Union". With the establishment of the "Traditionalist Youth Network", the "White Student Union" was absorbed.

In May 2013, Matthew Heimbach and Matt Parrott founded the Traditionalist Youth Network (TYN) . According to the ADL, the TYN wants to consolidate the supremacy of whites and enforce a racism that is interpreted as Christian. The group is against modernism, individualism, globalization and Marxism.

The members of the TYN have repeatedly expressed themselves anti-Semitic and reject a multicultural society. The only known chapter is at Indiana University, Bloomington , and is headed by the Suprematist Thomas Buhls. TYN has many connections within the right-wing extremist spectrum of the USA.

Matthew Heimbach took on a leading position in the neo-confederalist group League of the South and supported Donald Trump in its presidential campaign from 2015 .

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League , the Traditionalist Youth Network is oriented towards the European Identitarian Movement .

The party-political arm of the group is called the Traditionalist Worker Party and was involved in the Unite the Right demonstration in Charlottesville on August 12, 2017, in the aftermath of which a female counter-demonstrator was killed.
