Jianrui Battalion training camp

The training camp of the Jianrui Battalion ( Chinese  健 锐 营 演武 厅 , Pinyin Jiànruìyíng yǎnwǔtīng , English Tuancheng Exhibition Hall ), which is popularly known as the "Small Round City" ( 小 團 城  /  小 团 城 , Xiǎo tuánchéng ) - after the other Chinese name Tuancheng yǎnwǔtīng ( 團城演武廳  /  团城演武厅 ) - is called, is located in the Beijing district of Haidian on the road Xiangshan Nanlu. It was built in 1749.

It was a training camp for the Jianrui Battalion ( Jianruiying ), which was one of the elite troops of the Qianlong era, and was also used by the emperor to conduct troop parades. Since 2006 the site has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China in Beijing (6-306).
