Tramp 60
The Tramp vehicles were special tippers developed and built by Dieter Splie for the transport of containers from the GDR . Almost all vehicle components of the total of approx. 300 vehicles were produced by Splie's own operation in Magdeburg . The vehicles with a trough or, alternatively, a closed container that could be hydraulically lowered / picked up or tilted, were used primarily on large construction sites and in mechanical engineering.
Tramp 60
In 1964, the construction of a model of the Tramp 60 began, which was completed two years later. The articulated steering vehicle was then produced in 100 copies between 1966 and 1976. Except for the Robur - diesel engine , all components come from our own production. Due to the articulated steering, the vehicle had a turning circle of only 3.20 m. The vehicle could either transport a closed container with a 4 m³ capacity or a trough with a 2.5 m³ capacity.
Tramp 60-1
The completely redesigned successor, the Tramp 60-1 , no longer had articulated steering. With the vehicle swinging unsprung to the front of the vehicle, significantly more parts from other GDR vehicles were installed, the engine came again from Robur, who also supplied the now two-seater heated driver's cab of the LO / LD series , while the front axle from the all-wheel-drive W-50 came from. Again almost 100 vehicles were built in the 9 years of production.
Tramp 60-2
While the Tramp 60-1 was a new design, its successor, the Tramp 60-2, was only revised in a few details. Instead of the front and rear sections swinging towards each other, a fixed frame was used. For driving comfort, the special vehicle has now also been fitted with springs at the rear.
