Transferred Account Data Interchange Group Code

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Transferred Account Data Interchange Group Code , also known as the TADIG Code , is a unique and clearly assignable alphanumeric code. This code is used to uniquely identify network operators within a GSM -based mobile network.

The combination of letters and numbers results from the abbreviation for the relevant country (Germany has the abbreviation DEU) and the abbreviation of the network operator ( Deutsche Telekom e.g. D1, Vodafone e.g. D2).
