The Treisbornbach is a good one kilometer long, north-northeast and left tributary of the Reichenbach in the Hessian Hochtaunuskreis .
geography
course
The Treisbornbach rises at an altitude of about 585 m above sea level. NHN , a good one kilometer north of the Königstein district of Falkenstein and just under a kilometer west-southwest of the Altkönig in a coniferous forest on the eastern slope of the 602.5 m high Franzkopf . About half a kilometer to the east are the remains of a prehistoric settlement from the La Tène period .
The brook first flows in an almost southerly and then south-southwestern direction through a valley between the Franzkopf in the west and the Döngesberg in the east. It passes the waterworks of the Heiliggeist tunnel. He then enters the Reichenbachtal nature reserve , then changes east of the Reichenbachtal inn to the south and then walks along the edge of a forest meadow, accompanied by a forest path.
It now changes to the other side of the path, then runs past a small trout pond, crosses under the Kaiserin-Friedrich-Weg and finally flows at about 448 m from the left into the Reichenbach, which is approaching from the north-northwest .
