Transparency database

The transparency database is a web application operated by the Bundesrechenzentrum GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Finance in Austria , which is used to provide natural and legal persons with an overview of the services available or received from the public sector . In the Transparency Database Act 2012, as amended, information, evidence, control and review are listed as a substantive regulatory purpose.

Concrete access to the federal funding already recorded has been via the transparency portal since the middle of 2013 : The user authenticates himself to the financial administration with his personal access data, which he received beforehand by RSa letter , or by means of an electronic signature . Legal basis

The substantive legal basis of the transparency database is the Transparency Database Act 2012, the agreement according to Art. 15a B-VG between the federal government and the states on a transparency database, the Transparency Database Service Ordinance and the Transparency Database Operating Ordinance.
