Jean-Baptiste Kpiéle Somé (born September 1930 in Dano ) is former bishop of Diébougou .

Life

Jean-Baptiste Kpiéle Somé was ordained a priest on April 11, 1958 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Bobo-Dioulasso diocese . Paul VI appointed him on October 18, 1968 Bishop of Diébougou .

The Bishop of Bobo-Dioulasso , André-Joseph-Prosper Dupont MAfr , donated him episcopal ordination on January 18 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Dieudonné Yougbaré , Bishop of Koupéla , and Peter Poreku Dery , Bishop of Wa .

On April 3, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
