The Bistum Wa ( lat. : Dioecesis Vaensis ) is an in Ghana preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Wa . The mother church of the diocese is St. Andrews Cathedral in Wa.
history
The diocese Wa was on November 3, 1959 by Pope John XXIII. Erected from cessions of territory from the then diocese of Tamale and subordinated to a suffragan diocese.
