The Roman Catholic Church in Ghana is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church .

12.93% of Ghanaians are Catholics. The largest diocese, Kumasi, has 374,000 Catholics. It is followed by the Sekondi-Takoradi diocese with 332,732 and the Cape Coast archdiocese with 305,812 Catholics.

Peter Cardinal Turkson , Archbishop of Cape Coast, was named the first Ghanaian Cardinal by Pope John Paul II in 2003 . Pope John Paul II visited Ghana in 1980.

The Apostolic Nuncio in Ghana has been Archbishop Henryk Mieczysław Jagodziński since 2020 .

The Roman Catholic Church in Ghana is divided into four archbishoprics and 15 associated suffragan dioceses as well as an apostolic vicariate .
