The Bistum Navrongo-Bolgatanga ( lat. : Dioecesis Navrongensis-Bolgatangana ) is an in Ghana preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Navrongo .

history

The Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga was founded on April 23, 1956 by Pope Pius XII. Established from the cession of territory by the dioceses of Tamale and Keta as the Diocese of Navrongo and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cape Coast as a suffragan . On May 30, 1977, the diocese of Navrongo was renamed the Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tamale as a suffragan.
