BR-070
The BR-070 is a radial Brazilian federal highway , which, starting from the Brazilian capital Brasília, crosses the Midwest region of Brazil to the west . It leads from the federal district through the states of Goiás and Mato Grosso . It ends shortly before the border with Bolivia in Porto Corixó (municipality of Cáceres - MT ). The longest part of the road leads through the savannahs typical of central Brazil . In Mato Grosso leads north along the Pantanal , one of the largest inland - wetlands of the earth and a UNESCO - World Heritage .
The BR-070 runs from east to west, along with others, through the following towns:
- Brasília ( DF )
- Águas Lindas de Goiás ( GO )
- Itaguari
- Itaberaí , southern junction of GO-070 to Goiânia
- Goiás Velho
- Itapirapuã , northern junction of GO-070 to Aruanã
- Jussara
- Aragarças
- Barra do Garças (Mato Grosso)
- Primavera do Leste
- Campo Verde
- Cuiabá
- Cáceres ( MT )
- San Matías (Bolivia)
Its length is 1,333.3 km (for comparison: the longest German road, the A7 , is 945.6 km).
