The Stade Municipal Louis Simon is the former stadium of the French football club Croix de Savoie 74 in Gaillard . The town of Gaillard is located in the Haute-Savoie department in the eastern Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . The venue has a roofed main grandstand and holds a total of 2,000 spectators. In July 2009, the club was renamed FC Évian Thonon Gaillard ; to appeal to a wider audience in the Évian and Thonon-les-Bains region . Since the stadium did not meet the requirements of the National (D3) ; In 2005 the club moved to Thonon-les-Bains in the Stade Joseph-Moynat .
