The Bistum Yendi ( lat. : Dioecesis Yendensis ) is an in Ghana preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Yendi . It includes the municipalities of Yendi, Gushiegu, Karago, Bimbilla, Saboba-Chereponi, Zabzugu-Tatal in the Northern Region .
history
Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Sollertem sane on March 16, 1999 from the cession of territory by the Archdiocese of Tamale , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese. The local ordinary Vincent Boi-Nai has been SVD since it was founded .
